FALL 2021
At the beginning of the semester, I worked on a professional growth plan by setting up a goals for myself. Now that we have come to the end, I was able to reflect upon these goals, asses my progress, and see where I still need some improvement.
Even though my self-regulation learning strategies have improved, I think I still need to work on my time management skills. I still have a hard time keeping up with my assignments and it affects my performance in my classes.
However, I was able to get involved in a lot of events during the semester which allowed me to meet lots of new people. This is especially important because having just moved to this state, I felt pretty alone in the beginning. Thanks to the NC Teaching Fellows, I have been able to become part of a community that shares my interests and allows me to grow as a future educator.
