In this unit, the most important thing we learned was how to use the imperfect tense. At this point, we did not know any other tense other than the present. Now, we can describe actions that happened in the past. A strength is that I have enough understanding of the basics of Spanish that this new vocab can be quickly and easily adopted and used, as we are just learning new words to make new sentences. A weakness that needs improvement is that still often overlook minor details such as accent marks, a stem change, a single conjugation letter, etc. I need be more aware of these little things. Hopefully it will come over time. I am also worried that I will mix up the present and imperfect tenses. Before we only had to remember one conjugation, but now we have to differentiate between the two.
