Cooperating Teacher Institute

At NC State, we are continually seeking ways to support our school-based teacher educators, or cooperating teachers, as they work with work with our student teachers in their growth and preparation for the profession. As a valued member of our network, we invite you to participate in our 2018-2019 Cooperating Teaching Institute (CTI). The goal of our CTI is to provide you with the best practices of mentorship and coaching to manage effective relationships with student teachers, as well as integrate technology effectively through the process. We will have tracks available for beginning mentors as well as our seasoned veterans. We will offer a variety of sessions for our beginning mentors as well as those who have participated in previous mentor training with us or through your county.

The CTI will be held on the following three Saturdays throughout the academic year from 9-3 each day:

• October 27th
• February 2nd
• March 2nd
