The Wolf Den is a place for students to regulate and get back the "green zone" and in the prefrontal cortex part of their brain--a place where students feel calm, focused, and ready to learn.
Students use regulation strategies in the Wolf Den to calm their nervous systems and move their brains from being in to their amygdala back to their prefrontal cortex, and back to the green zone.
There are LOTS of different ways to regulate. Here are a few to try at home!
