Shaker High School offers the richest and most diverse courses of study in the Capital Region. Our Course Catalog contains information on each of the courses and programs offered at Shaker High School. The catalog is updated annually to reflect the changes and rich additions to the curricula at Shaker High School. Each year students, with the support of their families, decide on their individual course of study. These academic choices reflect students' interests, and begin to define the pathway to college and career. We encourage students, and families, to review the many choices and options for study.Â
During the course selection process, it is important for students to reflect upon their strengths and interests. Each student's school counselor will assist in reviewing academic records to ensure that each student has the opportunity to challenge themselves and explore their interests. The faculty and administration are also available to aid in this important process, and students and families are encouraged to reach out with any questions. Deadlines have been established for program and course selection decisions. Students and families must be sure that they have reviewed and considered all of the program options prior to submitting their final course selections. I encourage each student to challenge themselves and take advantage of the many opportunities available at our school.
Sincerely,
MR. MARCUS PUCCIONI
Shaker High School Principal
