Our Commanding Officer (CO)
Cadet Ensign Ariana Zavala
The Commanding Officer is the most senior officer of the unit. They are responsible for the overall management of the unit.
•Accountable for the unit's appearance, discipline, efficiency, training, performance, and conduct of the unit.
•Develops goals and visions for the unit, and making sure that the unit meets said goals.
•Ensures that cadets that show signs of leadership, get opportunities for leadership in accordance with their experience and ability.
•Responsible for a daily check in and daily check out along with communicating with SNSI/NSI about the products and projects of staff.
•Carries out all jobs the SNSI/NSI assigns them to.
Our Executive Officer (XO)
Cadet Ensign Allison Cortes
The Executive Officer is the second in command and manages the staff.
•Supervises and coordinates the activities in all staff positions.
•Carries out all tasks assigned by the CO.
•Enforces rules and regulations of the unit.
•Manages the staff, responsible for all daily/weekly functions. (Boards, promotions, events, etc.
•Solves any disciplinary actions before it comes to the attention of the SNSI.
•In the absence of the CO, assumes command of the unit.
Our Command Master Chief (CMC)
Cadet Chief Savannah Wilmer
The CC is the voice for all enlisted personnel.
•Fills in CO/XO duties when necessary.
•Understands all other jobs functions and fill in when necessary.
•Builds up leadership capabilities in staff, ensures the staff knows their job well.
•Knows the enlisted cadets very well, helping them and telling the
•officers about their capabilities.
•Assists staff in times of stress and specific cadets that have personal problems.
•Keeping up moral for all cadets and staff members.
Our Operations Officer (OPS)
Cadet Ensign Jedidiah Gooch
•Scheduling and coordinating all activities within the unit and making sure events go according to plan.
•Assisting with trip planning and community service events.
•Assists team commanders with planning and executing competitions and ensuring that they do so properly.
•Creates the weekly plans due every Wednesday.
•Creates and updates the Events Tracker as needed.
•Ensures CDMIS receives the hours for all events.
•Updates the Events Binder with all events.
•Ensures PAO updates the boards.
Our Administrative Officer (AO)
Cadet Chief Clemons
•Keeping unit administrative files and records (Binders, Ticklers)
•Ensuring that all unit reports are prepared and submitted as required
•Ensures quarterly awards get done.
•Making daily announcements with all necessary information at least a day in advance.
•Updating the paperwork tickler every week by Friday.
Our Supply Officer (SUPPO)
Cadet Petty Officer 1st Class LaPointe
•Inventory, ordering, documenting and issuing all unit supplies and
equipment.
•Ordering, storing, taking inventory and accounting for all uniform items.
•Maintaining supply appearance, security and control of all unit supply spaces.
•Maintaining an accurate record of supply inventory and cadet uniform issue.
•Also responsible for uniform issuing at the beginning of the year Wall to Walls at the beginning of the year and before AMI.
CDMIS Coordinator
Cadet Petty Officer 1st Class Egan
•Updating hours for each event into CDMIS, they can go to OPS for.
•Adding cadets' achievements into CDMIS, (rank-ups, ribbons, ext.) they can go to ESO for.
•Assisting quarterly awards (printing out award credit).
•Inputs uniform issuing into CDMIS.
•Inputs all other necessary information into CDMIS, along with assisting in any CDMIS reports needed.
Our Educational Services Officer (ESO)
Cadet Petty Officer 1st Class Douglas
•Makes weekly rank-ups letters due every Monday based off handbooks placed in the ESO box.
•Makes baggies for each platoon each week before Wednesday.
•Gives CDMIS all promotions to be input into CDMIS every Thursday.
•Updates the board in SNSI/NSI's office with the total number of promotions every Thursday.
•Keeps track of all promotions.
•Responsible for weekly powerpoints and tests to spread knowledge for promotions due every Thursday, presented in class the next Tuesday.
•Also signs off all books after tests have been taken.
Our Public Affairs Officer (PAO)
Cadet Petty Officer 2nd Class Thompson
•Making an article of each event for the public, due 24 hours after each event.
•Taking various pictures of all events.
•Maintaining communication with the school and local media. (School Newsletter with Mrs. Lord)
•Responsible for updating the boards every Thursday, in NSI's room, SNSI's room, and SNSI/NSI's office.
•Responsible for updating the daily board every day. (Either have someone you trust in 8th platoon do it or do it afterschool)
•Also responsible for filing any paperwork put into PAO box.
Our Event Coordinator (EC)
Cadet Chief Southgate
•Plots out events for the unit
•Assists NSI and SNSI in deciding what events the unit goes to/does not go to
Our Morale, Welfare and Recreations (MWR)
Cadet Petty Officer 2nd Class Mitchell
•Planning parties as needed/wanted.
•Making sure morale is high.
•Keeping everyone entertained/engaged.
•"Fun Boss" keeps motivation high throughout the unit.
Our 1st Lieutenant (LT)
Cadet Petty Officer 3rd Class Harvey
•Oversees room cleanliness and organization of all spaces on a daily basis.
•Lets SNSI/NSI know of any items needing replacement, as well as any items needed.
