Regular Meeting Place: Room 213
Description/Purpose: GSA provides a safe and confidential area for students who are struggling with their identity as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning. In addition to support, GSA works on educating themselves and the broader school community about sexual orientation and gender identity issues.
Requirements for Participation: You must be a student at NAHS. All grade levels are welcome!
Major Activities:
Membership in the Bergen County LGBTQ+ Youth Summit
Biweekly hang out meetings to discuss school feelings and climate
We are currently creating a group google slide presentation about current LGBTQ+ terminology that we would like to present to the staff in early June (Pride Month)
