All exams must be ordered no later than November 15 to avoid additional fees. Exam ordering is based on student enrollment in the College Board's AP Classroom.

Both the College Board and The Commonwealth of MA subsidize exam fees for eligible students. Please see the criteria below.
Students are eligible for reduced AP fees if:
their family’s annual income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service, or
the students are categorically eligible to be directly certified without application for free school meals because they are:
in households participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or in some states, Medicaid benefits, or
unhoused, migrant, runaway, or in foster care, or
The Nauset District has changed their eligibility protocol. Previously they used the free and reduced lunch forms. Going forward, families, who meet the income eligibility guidelines, must submit income evidence to a guidance counselor or the AP Coordinator and complete the linked form below. Please turn it into a guidance counselor or the AP Coordinator.

MA Income Eligibility Guidelines
Exam fee subsidy available for low-income Massachusetts public school students taking AP and IB exams in May 2025.
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has committed up to $1,252,373 for AP and IB exam fee subsidies in all subjects for all low-income public-school students for SY 2023-2024. Late or cancellation fees are not covered by this program.
Note: This subsidy does not apply to low-income students participating in virtual STEM AP courses through the STEM AP Access Expansion Opportunity (SAPAO) grant, as the exam fees are already fully covered through that grant.
