The College Board eliminated the AP Access Award beginning in 2025 but Nauset continues their commitment to providing all students the chance to participate in AP courses.
Nauset Regional High School earned a place on the College Board's AP School Honor Roll for the 2023-24 school year! The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that have done outstanding work to welcome more students into AP courses and support them on the path to college success.
The College Board utilizes three criteria for this award.
Expand school's college culture by enabling a percentage of the Class of 2024 to experience 1 AP course before graduating.
Assist with college affordability by enabling a percentage of the Class of 2024 to earn college credit by earning an AP Exam score of 3.
Optimize student's college readiness by creating opportunities for a percentage of the Class of 2024 to take a total of 5 APs across their high school years, with at least 1 taken in 9th or 10th grade.
Nauset Regional High School scored a gold in school culture, platinum in college credit, and platinum in college readiness. Thus earning a designation as a gold award for the year 23-24.
Nauset also earned the Access Award for providing opportunities for all students to enroll in their AP Program.
The College Board recognizes it takes a significant schoolwide effort—dedication from teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents—to make AP access a priority. This is an inspiring achievement for the Nauset community.
Nauset Regional High School is delighted to announce 102 students earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional AP academic achievement up to and during the 2024-2025 school year. The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program (AP) provides students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on their AP Exams.
The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on a student's performance on AP Exams.
AP Scholar with Distinction Award
Forty-two Nauset students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of three or higher on five or more of these exams.
AP Scholar with Honor Award
Seventeen Nauset students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams.
AP Scholar Award
Fifty-six Nauset students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of three or higher.
Students still currently enrolled in high school have subsequent school years in which to complete additional AP classes and possibly earn a higher-level AP Scholar Award.
Congratulations to all of these students!
