WORKSHOPS
This workshop explores ancient plant medicines and rituals from Peru, used for centuries to enhance cognitive function, promote neuroplasticity, and restore balance to the body and mind.
Discover how adaptogenic plants, such as maca, cacao, san pedro, coca, and ayahuasca, have been utilized to support mental clarity, emotional well-being, and overall vitality.
Learn about the brain’s receptors responsible for emotions, and how these plants can interact with them to facilitate profound, consciousness-expanding experiences.
We’ll also delve into how modern neuroscience is beginning to validate the transformative effects of these ancient traditions, supporting the body’s ability to heal and regenerate.
Hear compelling stories about the preparation and ceremonial use of these plants, and gain a deeper understanding of their role in holistic healing.
A Naturopathic Framework for Safer, Staged Detoxification
Many patients arrive wanting a “detox”, but not all are truly ready.
Pushing mobilisation in a depleted, inflamed or highly reactive system can worsen symptoms and erode trust.
This practical 90-minute workshop explores how to assess detox readiness - not just toxic load - and how to design safer, staged detox plans in naturopathic practice.
We’ll review modern toxic burdens and the key organs and systems involved in detoxification, then introduce a simple Rebuild → Mobilise → Eliminate framework.
You’ll learn how to identify patients who need foundational work first (minerals, gut, nervous system, drainage) versus those who can tolerate more active detox strategies.
We’ll also cover herbal and nutritional options for rebuilding, mobilising and supporting elimination, along with red-flag situations where intensive detox is contraindicated.
Case vignettes will help you translate the framework into real-world clinical decision-making.

2.15pm - 3.15pm
WORKSHOPS
This clinically focused session examines how gut and immune therapies are increasingly tailored to the individual, building on the foundations of probiotic science while expanding into postbiotic and downstream signalling strategies. Drawing on real-world clinical experience, Jace will explore how the Natural Therapeutic Order, functional testing, and staged protocols can be integrated to support long-term gut–immune health.
The session places a strong emphasis on clinical practicality, using real case studies to address common practitioner challenges such as protocol fatigue, poor patient compliance, and stalled outcomes despite patients “doing all the right things.”
Emerging postbiotic approaches are explored within personalised care frameworks, illustrating where and how they are most effective in practice.
