Speaking to traditional knowledge and how it can be applied in contemporary contexts.
Menopause, whether natural or medically induced, is a profound threshold in a woman’s life. Hormonal change intersects with identity, meaning, relationships, and health history, highlighting the limitations of symptom-focused care. These perspectives offer rich insights into individuality, meaning, and resilience in midlife. Re-examined through a modern clinical lens, this ancient wisdom provides naturopaths and medical herbalists with practical, innovative ways to support women through the menopause transition and beyond.
