The applied agricultural engineering program explores the occupations and educational opportunities associated with power and machinery, electrification, structures, soil and water conservation, and processing agricultural products. This program of study may also include exploration into diagnosing, repairing, or overhauling farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, diary equipment and irrigation systems.

Principles of agriculture, food and natural resources in an introductory course that introduces FFA, leadership, and the three pathways offered in the Ag Science career cluster.
Designed to develop an understanding of agricultural mechanics as it relates to safety and skills in tool operation, electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, fencing, concrete, and metal working techniques. This course helps students to prepare for careers in the agricultural power, structural and technical systems.
Students will explore career opportunities, entry requirements, and industry expectations, To prepare for careers in the mechanized agriculture and technical systems, students, must attain knowledge and skills related to agricultural structures design and fabrication.

Leadership Development Events focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FAA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classrooms.
Career Development Events build on what is learned in agricultural classes and encourage members to put their knowledge into practice. These events are designed to help a member prepare for a career in agriculture by testing and challenging the student's technical, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as their knowledge of the subject matter.
