SABER = to know
imperfect = knew
preterite = found out
CONOCER = to know
imperfect = knew / was familiar with
preterite = met
PODER = to be able to
imperfect = was or wasn't able to (had the potential)
preterite = achieved it (w/o "no"), failed it (with the word "no" is before it)
QUERER = to want
imperfect = wanted
preterite = tried to (w/o "no"), refused (w/ "no")
ENTENDER = to understand
imperfect = understood
preterite = found out / "caught on"
