Adjectives (words that describe nouns) tend to appear AFTER the noun they describe in Spanish. So instead of saying "The big dog," like we would in English, it will be ordered as "The dog big" in Spanish.

Just like with English, nouns can be singular (dog) or plural (dogs). However, in Spanish, the adjectives that modify plural nouns also need to be made plural!
