About The Project and Learning Goals
The “Her- Story” Global Collaboration Project is an opportunity for you to guide your students with interviewing a woman leader of influence in your community or a family member, and then create a celebratory multimedia presentation or video documentary biography project about this women leader. The learning outcome of the “Her-Story” final project is to provide powerful learning experience for ALL K-12 students to empathize with these women leaders of the how/why they have overcome career-work-life challenges, as they persevered to achieve their lifetime dreams/goals in STEM, CS or a educational career field. It is also supported with 10 bonus enrichment activities, and 25 bonus choice activities to continue the learning fun.

This online project runs March 1st and ends by May 1st. This is a flexible project, meaning you can start this project any time that meets your teaching schedule and Spring timeframe. We are hoping to celebrate all the women leaders and student's published PSA video documentaries and enrichment activity projects by Sunday May 12, 2024 in honor of the holiday of Mother's Day in the USA.
