- Plant a tree, blooming flower, or grass head to celebrate her legacy of good or create your own recycled seed paper in her honor.
- Listen to Idea Girls Spotify playlist and challenge your students to create their own uplifting song playlist.
- Create a Her-Story calendar of daily affirmations to celebrate women accomplishments. Here is an example "Mindful March" calendar to refer to and gain ideas.
- Classroom Playlist - Create a school-appropriate playlist for your classroom comprised of female musicians and play it during individual work time or class changes.
- City Councilwoman - If your city or town has a city councilwoman, ask her office if your class could visit City Hall. Have the councilwoman talk with your class about the importance of Women’s History Month and the history of women in politics.
- Educator Interviews - Have each student interview a different female school faculty member about her favorite historical female figure or role model, and write a reflection paper, or create a poem, or sketch/draw/paint a visual display about the learning experience of the women in leadership influence.
