The reason why Main and Atrium Campuses started using Canvas was simple. It was very confusing to those students to have multiple places and portals for course content. That's why Canvas was chosen for those two campuses. It's also that same belief that led the district to have WCCC Satellite teachers use Google Classroom and not Canvas.
From the time of Canvas adoption into the present day, all associate districts use Google Classroom; to have just a few career tech classes use a different learning management system didn't make sense. Using multiple systems in the same building would be simply too confusing for students. To prevent confusion, the district wanted Google Classroom to be the one-stop shop for course content.
Hence, the policy was made. Satellite classrooms would always follow the LMS delivery model of the district in which they teach.

Note: These are not automatically added to your Google Account. The more extensions you have, the more RAM Chrome requires. That means it slows down your Chrome browser. If you request to have some of these added, I recommend using Extensity, an extension that can be pinned to your toolbar to easily turn on & off your extensions instead of having to go into "Manage Extensions." Since add-ons are scripts in the Google item, they are less likely to bog you down, but there are some script limits.
