I am so excited for another fantastic 5th grade year with our TeSA stars! I graduated from Texas State University with an Environmental Studies degree. I am thrilled to get to share my love for Science and Social Studies with your students. In my free time, I love traveling, live music, and being outdoors. I also love spending time with my son, Chip, who will be a first grader at TeSA this year! I am grateful and ecstatic to learn and grow alongside your students this year!

I am thrilled to be back at TeSA again this year. 

Prior to teaching I was a Marketing Communications Director in the Consumer Products industry. My teaching career started in California where I received my BA, Teaching Credential, and Masters degree. I’ve been teaching for 16 years starting as an intervention teacher, then kindergarten and 1st grade classroom teacher in both Texas and California. I joined TeSA in 2022 as a 3rd grade teacher. And now, I look forward to us growing as readers, writers, and critical thinkers in 5th grade!

I am grateful and excited to join TeSA as a 5th grade math teacher. I have experience teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, along with Algebra and Geometry. My philosophy is with kindness, respect, and honesty, a teacher can help others see the truth about themselves. I am originally from Vietnam and value the power of diverse perspectives, striving to create a classroom where every student feels supported, and challenged. In my free time, I enjoy scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with family.
