We will be holding short, 10 minute meetings (over the phone) to discuss MAP scores as well as what we have observed during the first 6 weeks. We look forward to sharing with you all of the wonderful things your kiddo is achieving in 5th!

URGENT: We have confirmed that there is a severe nut allergy within our 5th grade family, which could cause a life-threatening reaction.  Please do not send any nut-products in your child's lunch or celebration treats this school year.  If this ever changes, we will let you know.

Our first Snack Attack of the year is Friday, September 20th! 4th grade will be selling snacks for $1 to raise money for their San Antonio field trip. Cash only!

We can't believe we are entering our 5th week of 5th grade!
Our beginning of the year MAP scores were sent home on September 6th. What in the world is MAP?! MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) is a measurement tool we use to assess student growth. It does not appear on report cards, nor is it counted towards grade averages. We will take the test two more times this school year to be sure students are progressing as they should. Let us know if you have any questions about their results!

HOWDY WEEK is here! This tradition is a great way to show your school spirit while welcoming the new school year. We can't wait to see all of the student's creative outfits!
