Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are coming up, and conference times are available for families who would like to connect. In order to accommodate as many families as possible, conferences will be scheduled in 10 minute time slots. These conferences will provide an opportunity to touch base on your student's overall academic progress and social development.
If you are unable to find a time that works for your schedule, please feel free to reach out, and we can work together to find an alternative date or time.

Valentines Day Party
Your student can bring a decorated box or bag to school to collect valentine's. To participate in the valentine exchange, each student will need to bring 18 valentines for their classmates. Students MUST bring valentines to receive valentines. We will only be exchanging with our homerooms.

It’s Spelling Bee time!
Our school-wide 2nd–5th grade spelling bee will be on Thursday, January 16th at 8:00am. This is usually such a fun day for students at TeSA!
What you need to know:
* Classroom spelling bee will be held in your student’s ELAR classroom on December 17th.
* 5th grade word lists were sent home with students on Thursday 12/4/25
* Each grade level sends 2 representatives per homeroom to represent in the school bee.
As is fifth grade tradition, we will be having a book exchange as part of our winter party. Each student will need to bring a wrapped new book to school by December 18. Each student will be coming home with a new book that they could read over break!

This week will be interim testing. We will be testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. These tests will help us see who is on track for STAAR and who might need some extra tutoring. We hope all of our TeSA Stars will try their best on these tests!
November 14 we are taking a field trip to FWAFA for a tour and to watch their middle school musical, Newsies Jr! We have been discussing audience etiquette and emphasizing they need to be on their best behavior for this trip.
