Grandma Debbie
Grandma Lucy
Evansville Elementary welcomed two volunteer grandmas during the 2024-2025 school year. Grandma Debbie and Grandma Lucy helped out in our primary classrooms and spent their time building relationships with our students, reading to the children, and helping out however the teachers needed.
We also had parents volunteer to support our carnival and other events throughout the school. Join our list of volunteers and our parent group to be a part of this!
All volunteers in Natrona County School District must be fingerprinted and obtain a volunteer card. To schedule an appointment, please contact the Human Resources Office at (307) 253-5225.
Fingerprint processing is done through the Division of Criminal Investigation. The results can take up to eight weeks, so make sure to start the process early. Fingerprints only need to be done once as long as you volunteer from one academic year to the next.
Evansville Elementary welcomes community partners to help educate our students on a regular basis. Pictured above, an Evansville Volunteer Firefighter demonstrates how long it takes to completely gear up to fight a fire. Our kindergartners learned it take less than one minute!
