NBPS will evaluate the transcripts of students who arrive after beginning their high school career in a different school. This evaluation will determine the number of credits that the student begins with and the distributional requirements that the student has completed.
Courses successfully completed at NBPS or another institution by students before they enter high school may result in accelerating a student in a specific discipline such as Math or World Languages and Cultures. These courses may be listed on a student’s high school transcript as “Other Academics.” Classes listed in the “Other Academics” section as taken before 9th grade may be recognized by some colleges and universities as academic units, but not necessarily for high school credit. In addition, grades earned in these classes will not count towards fulfilling NBPS graduation requirements or be counted in the NBPS GPA.
