The Care Closet @ NKU offers free clothing to assist NKU students in finding appropriate interview wear and everyday needs. Visit our location University Center 142.
At the Care Closet, we believe that everyone deserves access to fashionable clothing, no matter their shape or size. Our selection of new and gently used items is hand-picked for college students who demand style without sacrificing individuality. We are dedicated to to providing a safe and affirming space for our students. Fashion is for everyone. Students, you belong here, you matter.
Students can come to the Care Closet @ NKU for walk-in appointments during the open hours of operation or schedulean appointment with the Assistant Coordinator to visit the space outside of operating hours. We also offer monthly programming throughout the year and students are welcome to visit and shop at those events, in addition to the recommended 2x a year.
Community resources can be essential in helping individuals access assistance and expand their range of support outlets to meet their needs. In addition, community resources help build stronger, more resilient individuals and communities. Northern Kentucky University understands that students may need access to community resources to meet basic needs and well-being. Some of the resources provided on this page may include but are not limited to rent and utility assistance, food resources, financial assistance, resources for parents, and more.
Community resources change over time due to funding and other unknown circumstances. Information for these services is subject to change without notice. If you see a resource that is not listed or needs to be updated, please email us at community-resources@nku.edu

Academic Integrity
Student rights in academic courses are largely created by the syllabi for individual courses, handbooks for specific college programs, and through the academic catalog. In alignment with Kentucky law, the Dean of Students offices are only able to advise and support students in situations involving possible violations of NKU Community Standards and Student Rights.
