My name is Alyssa Lake, I currently serve as the Panhellenic President here at Northern Kentucky University. Serving as Panhellenic President at NKU has been one of the most meaningful experiences to my college career.

When I first came to college I was so focused on earning my degree, but by joining Greek life it added so much more meaning and value to that experience. From many study sessions and coffee socials to hard conversations and countless service projects, I’ve found a genuine support system in my sisters. These are the people who have pushed me, supported me and stood by me through every high and low.

For me recruitment wasn’t just about finding a place to belong for four years, it was about building connections that will last a lifetime. Through Panhellenic I’ve become part of something so much bigger than myself. Watching our community grow since I joined in Fall 2022 has been incredibly special and it’s inspiring to see the impact we continue to make through our philanthropic efforts and campus involvement. I absolutely love how our community is built on values like sisterhood, scholarship, service, inclusivity, leadership and unity. These are values that truly come to life every day within our chapters.

This experience has shaped me into the person I am today. It has helped me grow as a leader, strengthened my confidence and left a lasting impact on my heart.
