Asynchronous Learning Days due to Inclement Weather - Unscheduled 

ALL inclement weather days at Upper School will become Asynchronous Online Learning Days.

Because LILA students ride Forest Lake District 831 buses, we have to follow their School closure decisions.  Notification of an unscheduled - asynchronous online learning day usually occurs by 5:30 a.m. 

LILA will send out an email, and phone message using the contact information you have submitted via Infinite Campus. Please be sure your contact information is up to date at all times. 

Why?  

Different types of public schools and different grade levels have different minimum meeting time requirements in Minnesota. For example, district public schools have a minimum number of days they must meet.

Chartered public schools  have different requirements, with a  minimum number of hours, according to grade level. For our Upper School students, the current days and hours just meet the minimum state requirement; therefore, all emergency building closures  must be used for online learning.
