LILA contracts with District 831 for our bus services, making them our transportation provider.
Families will need to notify the Forest Lake Bus Garage if they want their student(s) to ride a bus when school starts again in September. Students will not be placed on a bus route unless families let us know they need one. This will help us schedule our buses more efficiently.
Please do not request a bus "just in case." If your family's circumstances change during the school year, you can let us know and a bus will be provided within three school days. Students who requested a bus and do not ride will be dropped from the route after two weeks.
The deadline for existing students/families to opt in was June 30th. Families should call the bus garage at 651-982-8190 if their plans have changed and they need a bus for their student.
New students and families can opt in to busing on their enrollment forms.
Check the District 831 Transportation webpage for more information or email us.transportation@mylila.org.
Students being dropped-off or picked-up should only enter/exit vehicles from the FRONT entrance sidewalk by Door 1.
Parents please follow the directions of the person directing traffic.
We do not use Silent Dismissal - a program used at Lower School.
Please DO NOT park in the student parking lot unless you are coming into the building for a meeting. If that is the case, please use the Visitor parking spaces.
Please DO NOT park on residential streets, as we have an agreement with the city that we will not allow it.
New permits are issued each year for our students. Students will need to reapply for the upcoming school year.
Driving to School
We have a limited number of parking spaces available. Parking passes are issued to students based on need and availability.
