Academic Lettering

Letter Awards: Students can receive one chenille letter during their academic career. Students are recognized for meeting subsequent lettering requirements. Bars and insignias are the responsibility of the student to purchase.

Activities, Athletics, and Arts: Each sport conducts a post-season gathering at which athletes are recognized for their accomplishments. For activities/athletics, they can choose when to present the letter awards.  Coaches/advisors reserve the right to withhold letters from participants who display conduct and attitudes detrimental to the team, regardless of participation.

Academic lettering:  Academic letter status will be calculated each year after the final grades have been posted. The letter will be given retroactively the following school year. Freshman-Seniors are eligible to letter academically.

1. 3.90 and higher Freshmen (9th grade) Year 

2. 3.85 and higher Sophomore (10th grade) Year 

3. 3.80 and higher Junior (11th grade) Year 

4. 3.75 and higher Senior (12th grade) Year
