In-LEA Innovation Schools
In-LEA innovation schools are required to remain on the IPS Network and opt into IPS IT services. Costs for these services are included in SBA and are not subject to separate reductions through the monthly passthrough process.
During the 24-25 Innovation Kickoff meeting, the Digital Strategy team presented these slides as an overview of the year.
The Personal Productivity Service from IPS IT - including device support - requires that device purchases be coordinated with IPS IT and IPS Procurement, to ensure that the Innovation School purchases supported makes/models and configurations. Request pricing information from Laraine Zook in IPS Purchasing at zookl@myips.org.
Managed print is a procurement initiative that began in 2020. New Cannon printers in IPS buildings sync to Papercut, which monitors print usage via the IPS Network.
Schools without access to the IPS network will not be able to use managed print and will be billed directly by Cannon for their usage if Cannon devices are in the building. For more information about managed print, please reference the innovation services catalog by clicking here.

IPS Managed Print contacts: John Young (YoungJ@myips.org), Mildred Williams (Williami@myips.org), and Ronald Craig (CraigR@myips.org).
For large scale printing jobs, IPS works with Printing Partners. Our contact there is Joel O'Brien: Joel@printingpartners.net.
School-based Asset Inventory (SBAI) contacts should be updated annually. If you do not have an SBAI on the SBAI tab at this link, please contact Laura Lowe to register users for SBAI access. All schools that receive district devices should have SBAI’s, as these are the personnel responsible for managing assets in Destiny. Properly maintaining and tracking devices in Destiny will likely be a pre-condition for future device refresh for those schools that opt into IPS IT services.
AMIS, or account management for innovation schools, is a critical tool used to ensure schools have individuals in their buildings with @myips.org credentials. Accessing systems like MUNIS, for example, requires an @myips.org credential. @myips.org emails are also helpful for entering McKinney Vento transportation requests and watching training materials on Microsoft Stream. Please ensure you are updating your AMIS lists annually and reference this training document for additional guidance.
