Color vs. Meaning

How does the color of a product affect the way we see it, and give us a different feeling inside?

The original red color fits the feeling of the skittles the best! I think this is because red gives the taste of Cherry. And since one of everyone's favorite flavors is Cherry it makes an appetizing look.

Therefore, when you look at the other colors it gives a different feel. For example, blue and pink feel more unhealthy. But when you look at the red one you might think, "Red is like an apple, what can one packet do?"

Those examples are a few ways the color red makes the most impact. People don't always like to try new things but since red is such a traditional color, it can bring a secure feeling to the individual.
