Today in class we had a 30-minute design project. We had to take a picture and make a soundtrack on what we thought this picture is expressing.
For me, this picture is so abstract and I constructed this sound to match the movement of the picture. If you listen closely the keys of the piano go up and down with the motion of the picture. For example, the beginning is a deep sound, that always stays the same, for a few seconds.
Then it continues to get a little cracky, but then it starts to go up, slowly, and down slowly. It then repeats that for the second blob of scribbles. It then holds a note and then a mix of 4 or 5 lines gets repeated. As I was creating this I was looking at the picture to make sure I could get it as accurate as possible.
I also chose a classical feel because I feel it suits the painting and that it has a classical vibe with it. I also tried drums and other instruments but piano sounded the best! I hope you enjoy my piece!
