The mission of Washington Elementary School’s counseling department is to support the development of Washington students through the implementation of a comprehensive counseling program that promotes the academic, socio-emotional and career potential of all Washington students.
The goal of the Washington Montessori School Counseling Department is to equip students with the emotional tools that will help them to be successful in school and in life.
At Washington Elementary School, we believe that all students are capable learners who can achieve success in their future career paths.
To support this journey, all Washington Elementary students are actively learning how to navigate their emotions and feelings through the school-wide implementation of socio-emotional learning. They also have opportunities to practice these skills with their peers within our school community.
We encourage all Washington students to focus on three key principles each day that promote success:
Honor Community
Show Excellence
Think Critically
Together, we can foster a positive and supportive environment for all our students.
