Mathematical Practice Standards and Mathematical Content Standards work together to help students develop  understanding and expertise in math skills and knowledge. Math Content Standards are categorized into different domains depending on grade levels: Counting and Cardinality, Operations and Algebraic Thinking, Number and Operations in Base Ten, Number and Operations - Fractions,  Measurement and Data, Geometry, Ratios and Proportional Relationships, The Number System, Expressions and Equations, and Statistics and Probability.
