This website features collections of YouTube movie clips organized by the language functions (speech acts) they illustrate. 

These clips have been selected for second language learners of English (young adults and up) to introduce them to language use in context. 

Each collection consists of movie clips (with synopses of the movies where the clips are taken from and clip transcripts) and  teaching activities to accompany the clips. 

The collections and teaching ideas are curated and contributed by TESOL students at Hawaii Pacific University.
