They have introduced Activism groups allowing our pupils to develop and contribute to part of our school community. In addition, the school has introduced 'Child Chatter', this academic year allowing pupils to feed back their thoughts on a variety of issues. The RRS group have become more involved in the schools recruitment process, creating questions and giving feedback on the answers.
The RRS group have connected with the Elgin Academy RRS lead to create a link between the schools. Our group will be working with the S3 pupils in the next academic year to create a RRS fayre at Elgin Academy to build further awareness of their rights.
The RRS group have audited every class to ensure they have a charter and are using it appropriately. They will provide advice for the next academic year. In addition, the group revamped the playground charter and discussed this with our stuff who work in the playground. Encouraging our pupils to use the 'Wheel of Choice'.
