The Water Warriors Activism Group have been working hard to plan and prepare an event for World Water Day (held annually on March 22nd) and to help raise awareness of the need to conserve water. They visitied all the classes in school over Thursday 20th and Friday 21st to share key messages related to this years theme of 'Water and Gender', carrying with them four 5L tubs of glue to represent the 20L of water many women and young grls around the world need to carry daily on 'The Water Walk'. Pupils were also asked to wear blue to school on Friday in recognition of World Water Day, were invited to take part in a poster competition and were reminded that they can make a difference as, "Every Drop Counts!".
