How I intend to use my personality type, emotional intelligence and learning style to assist in my learning 

This is how I intend on using the six (6) taxonomy of significant learning as I embark on my learning journey to ensure success in my programme of study. Firstly, I will use 'learning how to learn' to figure out my learning styles. I will then use it to my advantage in my live classes as well as on the e-classroom to do some self-directed learning from resources provided by my lectures. Next, I will use my 'foundational knowledge' on the topics that I had previously learnt to help me understand, recall, explain and predict matters based on these topics. The 'application' aspect of significant learning will further develop my skills, critical, creative and practical thinking which will naturally open my mind to new ways of thinking and help me to become more knowledgeable on current and future topics in my field of study. 'Integration' will help me to link my academics to my general life which will be noticeable in the way I speak and the things I choose to spend my time on (internships, meaningful conversations, etc). 'Human dimension', learning about my personality type and others will help me to understand my strengths and others need, among many other things. This can be beneficial in a group setting as it will help me to understand where others may fall short and where I can pick up the slack or vice versa, while still keeping the balance within the group. Lastly, 'caring' will help me to stay focused and motivated in hard times and times of doubt when the workload becomes to much or to difficult to bear.
