Rebecca Thrush's Teaching Portfolio

My goal is for the classroom to be a positive learning environment that values each student as an individual. I will strive to get to know every student on a personal level.

Students will be able to explore their curiosities and will have responsibility for their own learning through collaborative and independent work. The classroom will be a community between myself, the students, and their families. Through open communication between myself and families, as well as continuous support at home, parents will act as a partner in furthering their child’s education .

As a result, I hope to instill a love of learning and a desire for constant knowledge within each student.
