Welcome to Beginning Band!
Class begins at 7:40 a.m. Wednesdays & Fridays and requires home practice as well. Students will learn to play one of the following: flute, clarinet, trumpet, or trombone. The class focuses on proper instrumental technique, good tone production, musical literacy, and general musicianship. Our band performs various times throughout the year with highlights including the Winter Program on the last Tuesday in December before the break, as well as the All City Band Concert, in late May or early June.
