In the First Grade, music students will have the opportunity to listen to great works of music and learn about famous composers. They will learn to play a variety of percussion instruments. They will learn to match pitch and sing songs. They will work on playing, singing, and moving to a steady beat. They will be introduced to the rudiments of reading musical notation. Best of all, they will have a good time doing it!
