Bhavna Gurmukhani - President

Hi Spangler Families! I'm Bhavna Gurmukhani, a mom of 2 active Spartan boys in 6th and 1st grade. I am excited to be part of the PTA family in my new role as President this year. I have always loved volunteering in my school days and continue to be an active volunteer in various events at Spangler.

Aside from my school participation, I work as a software professional. I am a yoga enthusiast and enjoy spending quality time with my beautiful family.

Looking forward to support our students, teachers and school community for a fun and memorable school year.

Danielle Bettencourt - Secretary

Hi Spangler Families! I’d happy to join you for a third year in PTA. I was a Spangler Spartan from K-6th grade, growing up in Milpitas; and love being back to volunteer while my kids attend the school.

I have students in TK and 2nd grade, and am looking forward to another year filled with engaging events and fundraisers to help support our Spangler Spartans. PTA is all about teamwork and we can do so much when we work together!

Outside of my full time role as a Leader at Anthropologie, I love spending time with my family and getting outdoors. We’re always up for an adventure!

Nidhi Jain - Auditor

Hello! My name is Nidhi Jain, and I’m excited to serve as the Auditor on the PTA board this year. I’m a proud parent of a 4th grade student at Spangler, as well as a lively 4-year-old who will also be starting at Spangler this year.

I hold a Master’s degree in Finance and bring strong organizational and record-keeping skills to this role. I’m also an active Substitute Teacher, which gives me the opportunity to be involved in our school community and understand the needs of our students and staff firsthand.

I’m passionate about supporting our school community and committed to capturing and preserving the special moments and accomplishments of this school year.

I look forward to working closely with fellow parents and staff to help make this year a meaningful and memorable one for all our students!
