Eligibility: Any high school student who has lost one or both parents and has a passion for sports may apply for this scholarship.

Windward Spirit Scholarship
Eligibility: Any high school or undergraduate student who is striving to make a difference may apply for this scholarship. To apply, offer your thoughts and/or ideas about the 'Ode To Millennials-Gen Z text' found on our scholarship page.

Curtis Holloway Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Any high school student or undergraduate student at a four-year college who has lost a parent or lives in a single-parent household may apply for this scholarship.

ALS Family Scholarship
Eligibility: Any student who is pursuing career enhancement through education and is the child or spouse of someone who has ALS or someone who has died from it may apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility: Any low-income student who is pursuing STEM or medicine may apply for this scholarship.

Joanne Pransky Celebration of Women in Robotics
Eligibility: Any female-identifying high school or two or four-year undergraduate student who is interested in working in robotics may apply for this scholarship.

Cat Zingano Overcoming Loss Scholarship

HOPE Grant & HOPE Career Grant
Students attending a technical college in Georgia pursuing a certificate or diploma program qualify for the HOPE grant. There is NO GPA requirement.

HOPE & Zell Miller Scholarships
HOPE Scholarship
Students must graduate with a HOPE GPA of 3.0 or higher. This GPA is not rounded up. HOPE GPAs are final by June 30th after your graduation year. You can check your HOPE GPA progress each year through your GA Futures account.
Students MUST also graduate with a minimum of 4 rigor courses. These courses are specific, so check out the list below of courses offered at Shaw.

Zell Miller Scholarship
Students must graduate with a HOPE GPA of 3.7 or higher. This GPA is not rounded up. HOPE GPAs are final by June 30th after your graduation year. You can check your HOPE GPA progress each year through your GA Futures account.
Students must also receive a qualifying score of 1200 on the SAT in a single test administration or 26 on the ACT in a single test administration.
Students MUST also graduate with a minimum of 4 rigor courses. These courses are specific, so check out the list below of courses offered at Shaw.
GPAs for HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships are calculated by GA Student Finance Commission. This GPA is NOT on your Shaw transcript. You must use the "Check Your HOPE GPA" link in your GA Futures account.
HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship Rigor Courses
In addition to the GPA requirement, students MUST take and pass a minimum of FOUR (4) classes that meet the rigor requirement for HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships. Below are the courses offered at Shaw that meet the course rigor requirement. Again, you must have credit in 4 of these by the time you graduate.
