Applying for Hardaway's Magnet

ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE APPLICATION LOCATED AT https://apps.muscogee.k12.ga.us/Magnet/.

Applications will open November 6, 2023 at 8:00AM.

Make sure you complete the application before it closes on February 16, 2024 at 5:00PM.

You will be notified of acceptance through the email you use for your application on
March 8, 2024 AFTER 5:00PM.
Acceptances will be released in batches throughout the evening.

Hardaway High School, an International Baccalaureate World School

Hardaway is an IB World school, currently authorized to offer the IB Diploma and Career-related Programmes (our magnet focus) in grades 11 and 12. These two programs are advanced academic preparation for college that also helps students develop personally. The IB Diploma and Career-related Programmes are the focus of our magnet program, so students in grades 9 and 10 who participate in the magnet or wish to take honors courses are preparing for the rigor of the IB coursework in grades 11 and 12.

We are also currently seeking authorization to become an IB Middle Years Programme school which is designed for ALL students in grades 9 and 10, no matter what they plan to do after high school. The IB MYP is designed to help prepare students for their future by allowing them to personally connect to what they learn, helping them learn how to learn, and focusing on building real-world problem solving skills.
