High School Transcripts:
Contact Mrs. Damian, she can provide it to student or send to desired institution (college/university, employment, etc) IF mailing information is provided by student.
If transcript needs to be official please note that it will need to be in a signed, sealed envelope to provide to institution.
Ms. Kirkpatrick can also do transcripts as needed.
College/University Transcripts:
High School Counselor does not have access to college level transcripts.
Many colleges and universities use this platform to order transcripts: National Student Clearinghouse . (NNU uses own platform) See specific directions here.
Students who have taken dual credits from multiple colleges/universities (likely through IDLA course work) will need to make sure they send each individual transcript to the college/university they are planning to attend.
Example: You took 6 CSI Classes and 2 BSU Classes. This means you will order one CSI transcript and one BSU transcript, which should have all your course work from those institutions on the transcript.
NOTE: if you are CURRENTLY taking a course and want the transcript held until the final grades, you MUST select that when ordering transcript. Otherwise they will send it immediately and you will have to resend once that course finishes.
Official college/university transcripts will have various ordering fees associated with them.
Advanced Opportunities Funds is money ($4625) that students in 7th-12th grade are eligible for to apply towards the cost of the following:
Overload HIGH SCHOOL credits. Overload means students are taking a FULL schedule at their high school and working on credits at other times outside of school.
Dual Credits: $75 per credit at any regionally accredited college or university. Course must be college level 100 or higher. Earning both high school AND college credit.
Approved Exams: AP, International Baccalaureate, College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Career-technical education examinations, and preliminary college entrance exams (SAT, ACT, PSAT, and other similar examinations identified by the department.
Approved Workforce Training Courses: federally registered apprenticeships and eligible training courses. Eligible training courses must be approved and provided by an Idaho public technical college, lead to an industry recognized certificate, license, or degree, be required training for occupations in demand regionally, and are not available at a student's high school.
AO Funding requests are submitted by school counselor.
An Advanced Opportunities participation form must be on file with the school if you/your student are using AO funds.
If student is taking courses through colleges/universities directly it is the students responsibility to get the school counselor a copy of their unofficial transcript or copy of their schedule so those can be entered.
Students should meet with their school counselor to develop a plan that will help them maximize benefits of this program towards college and career goals. Students who use funds for more than 15 college credits must receive post-secondary advising (done through NextSteps Idaho portfolio) before accessing more funds .
Courses taken using AO Funding, MUST be transcribed on both high school AND college transcript.
It is important to note that student and parent/guardian are responsible for tuition and fees incurred as a result of registering for courses (books, fees, etc), exams, and complying with policies and procedures set by the college/university or examination provider. Also, if a student does not pass their course or withdraws AFTER the college/universities deadlines the AO funds are locked and students must complete one like course AND pass before they can access their AO funds again. If a student does not perform adequetly on an examination paid for by AO funds, District can determine whether the student must pay for and successfully pass such exam to continue to receiving state funding. *** State funds may NOT be used for repeated or remedial courses or exams.
Idaho Digital Learning Alliance offers easily accessible online classes to students throughout the state. Our dedicated Idaho educators can help learners earn dual credits, enroll in subjects not currently offered at their schools, or simply provide more flexibility in their day-to-day education.
Cost: $40 per course/per semester (AO funds only cover dual credit - DC OR Overload - taking full schedule w/no IDLA holders)
This format is not for every student, student needs to be self-directed, motivated, able to manage time, and able to do challenging assignments. If a student fails an IDLA course, the school may deny future IDLA enrollments.
*** Murtaugh uses IDLA Credit Recovery for students who do not pass their core course work. They do take attendance in this format so regular participation is mandatory or student will be dropped.
Counselor does not have any access to college level accounts, student numbers, etc.
If you need assistance with CSI Canvas: Main CSI Canvas (most CSI courses use) please check here for assistance: CSI Canvas Help
Dual Enroll: Students only need ONE account (it can be used across colleges):
