These scholarships are Murtaugh High School specific. They will open in January of graduating year and be due back to the Counselor the Friday before Spring Break.
Amount: $500
Eligibility: Murtaugh High School senior(s) attending a post-secondary college or trade school.
Application: Write a one-page essay on what you’ve done to be a deserving recipient and how you will use the scholarship to pursue your goals.
Selection: Recipient(s) will be chosen by the Funk family or their designee.
Amount: $500
Eligibility: Graduating senior who attended Murtaugh Elementary for at least one full year and will attend a post-secondary school.
Application: Write a one-page essay describing the advantages of attending a small school.
Selection: Judged by a committee of elementary employees.
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Top FFA senior member with the most participation points.
Application: Points calculated annually and turned in before the FFA banquet.
Use: Must use within 2 years of graduation.
Selection: Chosen by the FFA advisor; funds distributed by the Graff Family.
Amount: $500
Eligibility: One Murtaugh High School graduating boy and one girl who plan to attend post-secondary school and show importance of being a "student" athlete.
Application: Write an essay on how participating in athletics helped you become a better student and leader.
Selection: Judged by the school counselor and Superintendent.
