College Admissions Testing
The majority of 4-year colleges and universities in the United States rely on standardized tests to determine how ready you are for college level work. A good score on these tests can help you get into your college of choice, earn scholarships, and receive advanced placement or college credit. The ACT and the SAT are the two national tests used for this purpose.
Murtaugh High School will run a SAT School Day test in the Spring, this is open to Juniors and Seniors (please note this won't happen until after the priority deadlines for scholarships, etc so if you are needing scores before then take Junior year OR use the links below to sign up for an off-site test.
Advanced Opportunities funds can be used to REIMBURSE students for College Entrance Exams, they need to provide school counselor with a copy of receipt (usually the payment page/receipt page) AND a copy of the test ticket (with test date, student info, etc). These reimbursements won't be submitted until AO funds are put in for that current term.
