LUcky duck Leader
Your child will be assigned one week to be the Lucky Duck Leader in our classroom. This role is a great social opportunity for the children and an excellent way to build a classroom community. It is fun learning new things about classmates!
On the Monday of your child’s Lucky Duck Leader week, your child can bring in one item to share with the class. If we have no school on the Monday of your child's Lucky Duck Leader week, they will share on Tuesday. Appropriate choices for their Share Day include: family photographs, books, collections, a craft they have created, something related to a hobby they enjoy, or an object that connects with something we are learning in class. Such objects should only be brought to school on your child’s Share Day. Please refer to the Toy Guidelines in the Student Handbook for items that are not encouraged in school. If you would like to email me a picture or video for your child's Share Day, please send it by 9:00am. Thank you!

In addition to Share Day, the Lucky Duck Leader has a few important responsibilities during their week. They will be line leader, classroom messenger, Number Corner captain, and our classroom librarian.
Please see the schedule below and make note which week is your child’s special week. I will also remind the kids on Fridays that they are the Lucky Duck Leader the following week!
