LCES PTO Updates

• LCES PTO is looking for 2024-2026 board members. Could this be you? Accepting nominations til March 11th. 

• Past PTO President, Mike Stagner of Regional Doors & Glass, reflected on his time saying, “Raising my niece Jackie gave me a first hand look at EVERYTHING that the teachers and schools were doing for Jackie and other students. When a vacancy for PTO President became available, I was honored and privileged to fill the position in an effort to give back to the schools in some small way. Upon serving I quickly understood what a rewarding opportunity this was from the high fives from students in the hallways, to the smiles on teachers faces for things PTO was able to do. Perhaps the pinnacle every year was the annual book fair where EVERY student was guaranteed a book. I am forever changed for having served and will cherish the interactions I had with students and teachers.”

• Our next event is Read-Across-America Day!  Many guest readers have signed-up to read.  We appreciate you!  If you have signed-up, the classroom teacher will be emailing you soon to schedule a time that fits your schedule and the classroom.   

• LCES PTO has formed two committees to help with:

  • 1) Teacher Lounge Makeover: April 1-5th

  • 2) Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6-10th
