Who We Are

McNeff’s Open Doors for Survivors with Disabilities is a multidisciplinary, cross-system collaboration made up of Disability Awareness Resource Team (DART), Call to Safety, Native American Youth & Family Center (NAYA), Raphael House of Portland, Multnomah County Aging, Disability and Veterans Services, Multnomah County Domestic and Sexual Violence Coordination Office (DSVCO). These organizations have come together to improve access to the service system for survivors with disabilities through training and technical assistance, policy and procedure review and assessment of spaces where survivors with disabilities may turn for assistance with abuse.  

Beginning in 2015, and through a series of focus groups with survivors with disabilities, service providers and stakeholders, we developed a strategic plan that aims to reduce the barriers survivors with disabilities face when attempting to access services. Our strategies for barrier reduction focuses on key areas including, but not limited to the following:
