Accessibility Toolkit for Domestic & Sexual Violence and Disability Programs in Multnomah County

Image of thank you gifts given to Open Doors members. It is 7 popsicle sticks glued together in the shape of a door. Black letters have been stamped on to say "McNeffs Open Doors". There is green fabric vine wrapped on the outside of the door. There is a purple rose glued to the left side of the door.

Thank you for visiting McNeff's Open Doors for Survivors with Disabilities Online Accessibility Toolkit!

Originally funded in 2015, the McNeff's Open Doors project is a multidisciplinary, cross-system collaboration. We are a collaboration of domestic & sexual violence and disability advocates and service providers in the Multnomah County area. We focus on improving service systems for survivors with disabilities through training and technical assistance, policy and procedure review, and assessment of buildings and spaces survivors with disabilities may access for assistance. We are funded by a Disabilities Grant from the federal Office on Violence Against Women (OVW).

Even though the Open Doors project stopped receiving grant funding at the end of September 2023, we hope that this website will serve as a helpful resource for disability and domestic & sexual violence service providers in Multnomah County to help continue the work our collaboration began. If you have questions about the resources on this website or would like additional support or consultations for your work with survivors with disabilities, please contact Alix Sanchez, Domestic and Sexual Violence Coordination Office (DSVCO) Manager Sr.
