Helen Benjamin

Helen Benjamin was a beloved Spanish teacher at Manchester Township High School for five years. Benjamin was fluent in five different languages including English, Spanish, French, Latin and Portuguese. She loved teaching but enjoyed her interactions with her students even more. Besides language, Benjamin also loved music as she played the piano and viola in her school days. She also sang in the Garden State Philharmonic Chorus. Benjamin had a passion for traveling the world. She enjoyed nature, cooking, and spending time with her family. Benjamin was a devoted teacher, warm friend, a loving mother, and wife. Benjamin passed away on February 16, 1996 at 48 years old due to stomach and liver cancer.
