Dennis DePhillips

On Friday, August 23, 1991, 14-year-old Dennis DePhillips was struck by a car on Route 70 just weeks before beginning his freshman year at Manchester Township High School. Dennis’s injuries were fatal. He was an avid soccer player and looked forward to playing on the boys’ soccer team. Dennis was a member of the Toms River Soccer Association and a communicant of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Lakehurst. Dennis will be remembered forever.
